Emmerdale spoilers follow.
In next week’s Emmerdale, Amy and Moira return from Belfast, but it’s clear Kyle is still tormented by his actions when he builds a memorial for Al.
Elsewhere, Mandy worries Vinny is turning into his father – and at Home Farm, Dawn and Gabby battle for a job.
Here are 14 big moments to watch.
1. Amy and Moira return from Belfast
Moira and Amy return from Belfast but the atmosphere is frosty, with Matty still upset that they both kept such a big secret from him.
When Matty confronts Amy, she insists their relationship is over and her priority is protecting Kyle.
Amy is also determined to clear Moira’s name with Chloe over Al and tells her to shut down her investigation for Kerry’s sake.
Chloe agrees but is hurt when Amy tells her it’s time she moved out. She reveals her pregnancy in the hopes Amy will change her mind.
2. Amy and Matty reunite
After another talk, Amy and Matty manage to patch things up and they update Moira and Mackenzie about getting back together.
Amy also tells them she has managed to sort things with Chloe, but she makes Mack squirm when she mentions the pregnancy, unaware he’s the father.
3. Kyle is tormented
Kyle, still struggling to cope with what he did, makes a memorial for Al in the barn. When Moira visits Cain, he expresses fears about their secret spreading too quickly.
Moira also debates trying to find Al’s real mistress and destroy the accusations pointed her way. Cain doesn’t flinch and keeps Chas’ secret safe.
At the farm, Matty stumbles on the memorial and worries it’s too soon for Kyle to return to school. But with Amy and Moira trying to cover the secret as best they can, the family anxiously prepare Kyle to go back to lessons.
4. Jimmy gets Vinny to open up
Mandy’s grateful when Jimmy offers to be an outside support for a struggling Vinny and the two get talking over a game of snap.
When Will spots Vinny thrashing Jimmy at poker, he has an idea for getting a game going. Before long, others are joining in.
Vinny’s in his element, distracted from his grief. A flash newcomer called Darren also joins the game.
5. Mandy is furious at the poker games
The next day another secret poker game is arranged, hidden from Charles.
Soon more and more players take part, including David – shirking his responsibilities at the shop, which annoys Eric.
Jimmy lets slip to Mandy about the poker. She soon accuses Vinny of turning into his father.
Jimmy feels guilty for encouraging Vinny but Vinny ignores Mandy’s interfering.
6. Vinny ignores Mandy’s concerns
Soon, Vinny and Mack are discussing their strategy for a new game with Darren.
But is Mandy right to be worried? And how will she react when she learns Vinny has gone behind her back?
7. Gabby is put-out by Dawn
Gabby desperately wants to impress Kim, and prepares for a meeting Kim has set up with Darren about the stud farm project.
Before long Gabby makes an embarrassing mistake and feels worse when Dawn swoops in and saves the day, impressing Kim.
Kim encourages Dawn to be ambitious and soon offers her a job share with Gabby.
8. Dawn rejects Kim’s offer
Dawn refuses Kim’s job offer. Kim assumes it’s down to Will’s interference and criticises him for not encouraging Dawn more.
Later, Dawn shares her concerns about childcare with Kim, who suggests hiring a nanny to help.
Dawn agrees to explore options, but she’s still not convinced.
9. The battle at Home Farm begins
The next day, still doubtful, Dawn shares her potential job news with Rhona who tries to encourage her self-belief, praising how great she has been at the surgery. But at Home Farm, bitter Gabby shares her concerns about Dawn with Kim.
Kim suggests they both shadow her for a few months, and whoever is most successful will be hired. The battle for the Home Farm job begins.
10. Charles makes changes to the choir
When Charles struggles to recruit younger members to the choir, Ethan suggests he needs to modernise things to make it more appealing.
Unknown to Charles, Cathy and April’s recent boy trouble causes big friction at the audition and the two prepare to battle it out on stage.
11. Cathy breaks down
Rivalry at the choir hots up, and Cathy worries when Ethan impresses everyone with his best Mariah Carey.
Wrecked with nerves, Cathy breaks down on stage and April shows concern, while Bob is left worried for his daughter.
Eventually, the animosity between the girls is resolved and they agree to be friends again.
12. Bernice struggles with her diagnosis
Since her menopause diagnosis, Bernice struggles to get used to the news as she copes with the symptoms and loneliness.
When Gabby and Rhona offer their support, Bernice realises that’s not enough and she wants more in life. She’s eventually convinced to swallow her pride and ask for her job back.
But when Bernice stumbles upon a Joker card, lost after the poker game, the cogs turn and soon she’s making a surprising offer.
13. Belle is suspicious
With Chloe still determined to find out who Al’s mystery woman was, Charity updates Belle on all of Chloe’s snooping. But when Charity teases Chas that she’ll be the next one accused of the affair, Belle is immediately suspicious of Chas’ jittery reaction.
Belle confronts Chas again, but Chas sticks to the same story and denies any long-term affair. How long before the big secret is out?
14. Marlon goes back to work
After Ryan’s surprise offer to come back and work at The Woolpack, Marlon worries it’s too soon.
But after Ryan agrees to let him work part-time with extra breaks and adjustments, Marlon accepts the offer, and he nervously prepares to return to work.
