Marc D’Amelio Reacts To Charli’s DWTS Win

Following criticism from TikTok fame, Charli admitted that she was beginning to lose interest in dancing. During Marc’s interview, he expressed how happy he was to see his daughter dancing again. Marc also noted how passionate Charli has been about dancing since she was a child. “She grew up dancing. It’s in her heart; it’s in her blood,” Marc said of his youngest daughter. The proud dad also added that it was especially incredible for Charli to have gone back to her passion and emerged as a winner.

In the last few months and throughout the season, Charli has put in a lot of work to deliver outstanding performances on Dancing With The Stars. In this final performance where she emerged as the winner, the 18-year-old dancer and her partner Mark performed a freestyle to Pinar Toprak’s “Us Again,” which moved judge Derek Hough to tears. Besides her family, the DWTS judges were incredibly proud of Charli.

Charli has always had the support of her family while in the competition; hence, the reason why she put in her best effort to make them proud. When she danced the cha-cha to the song “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion, her boyfriend, Landon Barker, was consistently supporting her from the stands. In addition, Landon and his family—his dad Travis Barker and stepmother Kourtney Kardashian—were seen supporting Charli during week three of DWTS season 31 from the front row. Charli has also mentioned how incredibly supportive her mother, Heidi D’Amelio has been. It was so surreal to see that all of the support paid off on Monday night, when Charli and her dance partner triumphed as the latest Dancing With The Stars Champions.
