Coronation Street villain Stephen Reid has a new problem on his hands next week as his sister Gail Rodwell starts asking some awkward questions.
Stephen is currently hiding several secrets, as he maintains the façade of being a successful businessman and also continues covering up the truth about Leo Thompkins’ death.
This week’s episodes see Stephen take on a new job as a fast food delivery driver in a bid to ease his financial crisis.
Stephen is desperate to make sure that his family don’t find out about his casual work, even after he injures himself on the job by falling off his moped.

Tim Metcalfe’s mum Elaine Jones spots him fall from the vehicle, but Stephen is relieved when she doesn’t realise that he was using it for food deliveries.
Next week, Tim is intrigued and concerned to spot Stephen and Elaine entering the café together.
Tim is wary over Elaine potentially choosing Stephen as a new love interest, but she assures her son that Stephen is nothing like her abusive ex Geoff.

Shortly afterwards, Stephen faces Gail and his mum Audrey and needs to explain his injuries.
Stephen makes out that he had too many drinks, fell on his arm and spent the night at a friend’s house.
Gail isn’t sure about this explanation, as she has already taken an angry call from Stephen’s boss at fast food brand Six Fellas.
After searching online for information about the company, Gail confronts Stephen about the call from his boss.
Will Stephen be able to lie his way out of this one?

Corrie chiefs recently tipped Stephen as one to watch in this year’s Christmas episodes, as his problems continue to mount up and he considers killing again.
A show insider teased: “Murderous Stephen plots his next move as he desperately tries to cover his tracks.
“But with his own family starting to ask questions, his ex-wife threatening to reveal all, and Teddy starting to doubt son Leo’s sudden disappearance, how long is it before Stephen contemplates killing again? And who will his next victim be?”
