EastEnders has aired exit scenes for Dotty Cotton.
Milly Zero bowed out of the soap during a special Friday night episode, capping off a week of episodes focusing on the extended Cotton-Branning family in honour of the late June Brown.
Friday’s episode (December 16) revolved around the various members of the family’s feelings about the reading of Dot Branning’s will.

While Sonia worried about whether her strained relationship with Dot in her final years may impact things, Dotty was all ready to sell the house and travel the world with the cash.
Dot’s solicitor Kenneth Foskett eventually arrived to read the will to Sonia, Dotty, Jack Branning and Dot’s great-nephew Reiss Colwell.
In the end, Dot left No25 to Sonia while she’d given £10,000 to Dotty. In typical Dotty fashion, she was furious not to be the sole recipient and threw a fit.
Dotty went so far as to start pouring alcohol all over the house with intent to light it on fire! Her Uncle Rocky and Sonia eventually had to wrestle the match away from her.
“I know you’re upset, but you can stay here,” Sonia promised.

But Dotty was having none of it and this latest snub was a final straw for her, so she quickly packed her bags and left the house. After sharing a quick goodbye with best friend Bernie, she called Sonia a “boring old bag” and shouted: “To hell with Walford” as the taxi drove her out of the Square.
When her departure was announced in November, Milly Zero said: “I can’t tell you how life changing and incredible my time at EastEnders has been, and how much I am going to miss it, but I am ready for new challenges now.
“Thank you to everyone that made it so special – I have made friends for life, learnt huge amounts, and made memories to last a lifetime.”
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
