Emmerdale’s Noah Dingle is in for a shock next week as a family member gets in contact. 

The teenager gets some news, which is linked to his late father Chris Tate, from his aunt Zoe Tate, played by the late Leah Bracknell, who makes contact via a message in the show. 

Chris was a villain on the ITV soap from 1989 until 2003 when he took his own life before framing wife Charity for his murder and uncovering her affair.

Charity went to prison for the crime and Noah was looked after by aunt Zoe until she helped his mum get released. 

Over the years, Zoe has been mentioned on the show several times since leaving in 2005 and is mentioned again in coming episodes and reportedly makes contact with Noah.

Leah Bracknell – who played Zoe, died in 2019 after battling stage four lung cancer. She last appeared on Emmerdale in 2005.

It is unknown the reason behind Zoe reaching out to Noah but he will discover that his aunt has set up a trust fund for him in his dad’s name. 

Noah is left shocked when handed the money which he never new existed but it is known how much money is in the account. 

Meanwhile Charity is left spiralling after learning some jaw dropping news during a devastating yet mystery phone call.

Viewers will have to watch the soap next week to see if the two plot lines are linked as spoilers currently don’t reveal who is on the other end of the phone.

Charity spirals after the call turning to drink and continually acts out leaving friends worried and partner Mackenzie Boyd fearing the worst. 

He dreads she has found out that he has slept with Chloe Harris and got her pregnant with his baby. 

Charity tries to escape her thoughts and takes Caleb’s car keys, but before driving off Cain spots her and gets in the car to find out what is going on. 

She confines in him explaining what has happened, but viewers will have to wait and see his reaction.
