Emmerdale’s Amy Wyatt and Moira Dingle will face mounting pressure as they try to hide the truth about Al Chapman’s death from the police.
Cain Dingle is currently in prison charged with Al’s murder but, as viewers already know, his killer was actually Cain and Amy’s son Kyle – with Cain instead planning to take the blame for Al’s death. The revelation caused Amy, Kyle and Moira to briefly flee the village as they struggled to deal with the fallout and Kyle struggled to adjust back to normal life.
Upcoming scenes will see Moira and Amy take Kyle and Issac to a village choir event in hopes of getting the boys into the festive spirit.

However the trip doesn’t go to plan as Kyle is able to slip away from Amy and Moira, approaching PC Swirling to ask about what’s happening with Cain.
Alarmed by the situation, the pair swoop in and take Kyle away before be reveals his involvement in Al’s murder. But not before the pair arouse suspicion in the police officer, does he suspect that the Dingles have something to hide?
Back home at Butlers Farm, Amy and Moira attempt to find out why Kyle was speaking to PC Swirling, upsetting the boy with their persistent questions.

As Amy struggles to hold it together while protecting her son, Moira insists that if they’re able to throw the boys a perfect Christmas it’ll help with bringing some normality back to Kyle’s life.
But with the pressure mounting on both Amy and Moira, will they be able keep their secret for much longer?
